The Saudi Arabia Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs integrated the RightPatient® biometric patient identification system with their EHR system to accurately identify patients and ensure safety throughout the care continuum. The RightPatient® biometric patient identification system enabled them to enroll more than 30,000 patients each day from 544 different locations with a total database size of several million records. For enrolling and identifying patients they choose to use the “M2-FuseID™ Smart Finger Reader”, a combination of fingerprint and finger vein biometrics with strong anti-spoofing capabilities, all in a single biometric reader to ensure security and reliability. The system is helping them to eliminate problems with accurate patient identification to provide quality healthcare services.
