Secugen and M2SYS Partner on CloudABIS Biometrics Suite
Today we announced a new partnership with Secugen to help customers using their fingerprint readers to accelerate their projects through the adoption of CloudABIS – a new suite of cloud-based biometric identification management tools designed to help lower the costs and remove the friction for authentication projects around the world.
If you haven’t heard about the CloudABIS suite, we have some exciting news to share. As longstanding pioneers in the biometrics industry with a strong track record of designing and developing innovative biometric identity management solutions that lower the costs and speed the adoption of this technology, M2SYS is pleased to now offer the CloudABIS suite that enables anyone in the world to quickly develop and deploy a highly scalable solution that avoids the risk, cost, and burden of the development time and maintenance so often required for these types of projects.
The components of the CloudABIS biometrics suite are as follows:
- CloudApper: A configurable cloud software framework that can serve as the application layer for your next biometrics project. CloudApper can be used for anything from data management, to rapid prototyping, to a full-scale solution. This rapid cloud application framework can be used to build identity management systems for use cases such as national ID, border control/immigration, voter registration, membership management, time and attendance, and more.
- CloudABIS: Our scalable, cloud-based biometrics-as-a-service (BaaS) matching system. For use with either fingerprint, iris, finger vein, or facial recognition, developers looking to add biometrics for identification can easily integrate into CloudABIS under a flexible and affordable SaaS model. Customers can use our public cloud or deploy CloudABIS in their own private cloud environment.
- CloudScanr: Windows and Web application biometric device integration with web service. B ased on a service-oriented architecture. CloudScnr eliminates the headache associated with integrating biometric hardware into windows applications and various web browsers. With the launch of this product, developers do not have to worry about ActiveX, native code integration and browser plug-ins!
The Secugen/M2SYS partnership was struck to help speed development and facilitate the software development process for Secugen’s broad network of global partners. Both parties recognized the potential positive impact from spreading the use of the CloudABIS suite in an effort to reduce unnecessary time and money spent on biometric deployments.
Too many biometric identification projects around the world are often abandoned due to inflated development costs, unsolvable development obstacles, licensing issues, and on-going maintenance which costs precious time and money. M2SYS recognized an opportunity to offer a suite of biometrics tools that eradicates these common problems in an effort to accelerate projects and bring them to market.
